UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (KTLA) – Engineers at Universal Studios Hollywood were trying to figure out what happened after a popular attraction stranded some guests Monday.
Ten people had to wait to be rescued from a car on “Transformers: The Ride-3D” when it became disabled about 9 a.m. and stopped mid-ride.
Firefighters were called after operators could not restart the ride.
It took about an hour to rescue the stranded guests.
No injuries were reported.
The ride was expected to resume after standard inspections were completed, according to a statement from Universal.
