Person of Interest Sought in ‘Execution’ Murder of Garden Grove Man
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KTLA) — Police were looking for a person of interest Monday in connection with shooting death of a 46-year-old man in his own home.
William Nauman was found dead in his Hale Avenue home of multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Detectives said it appeared as if the victim was “executed,” according to Lt. Jeff Nightengale.
The person of interest, Andrew Carl Harvey III, was seen leaving the residence shortly after the crime, Nightengale said.
The 38-year-old was known to frequent Orange County and Long Beach areas.
Harvey was believed to be traveling on foot and does not own a vehicle.
No weapon was recovered from the home, so Harvey should be considered armed and dangerous, according to Nightengale.
Harvey is white, 5 foot 11 inches, 195 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and numerous tattoos on his arms and chest and possible “Long Beach” tattoo on his neck.
Anyone with information was urged to call Garden Grove Police at 741-741-5800.
