Culver City Police to Reunite Dog With Owner

[Update, 11:17 p.m.]: “This evening, thanks to your help, the owner was located and will be reunited with their dog,” Culver City police said in a statement Saturday.

Authorities had published a photo of the dog on social media after he was found by police officers.

[Original story]: CULVER CITY, Calif. (KTLA) — The Culver City Police Department on Saturday was attempting to reunite a “very friendly” dog with its owner.

The male canine was found running loose without tags Saturday afternoon near the intersection of Culver Boulevard and Madison Avenue, police said.

Anyone with information or questions regarding the dog was asked to call Culver City Animal Services at (310) 253-6143.

The dog was expected to be transported to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles on Saturday evening, police said. The spcaLA may be contacted at (310) 676-1149.
