Cleghorn Fire in Cajon Pass 100% Contained

(KTLA) — All lanes on the 15 Freeway and Highway 138 were open Sunday in the Cajon Pass as the so-called Cleghorn Fire was 100 percent contained, authorities said.

All northbound lanes were temporarily closed on Saturday, according to Caltrans, as was a section of Highway 138.

Two brush fires burned 110 acres along the 15 Freeway, south of Cleghorn Road, the U.S. Forest Service said.

The blaze, which started about 5:25 p.m. Saturday, was 100 percent contained Sunday evening, the Forest Service said.

No injuries or structure damage were reported.

Near the junction of the 15 Freeway and Highway 138, a McDonalds restaurant and Chevron gas station were evacuated as a precaution. No other evacuations were ordered.
