ANAHEIM, Calif. (KTLA) — Authorities have located a “person of interest” sought in connection with a series of arson fires in Orange County, sheriff’s officials said on Tuesday.
“Search for suspect(s) continues,” a post on the Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s Twitter account said.
On Monday between noon and 3:45 p.m., a series of fires were intentionally set in the east Anaheim and Yorba Linda areas, according to police.
The person of interest was seen in the vicinity of both fires, investigators said.
The fires did not pose a risk to any homes or businesses.
Witnesses said the man displayed bizarre behavior, and made mention of various fire apparatus.
