Girl, 4, Riding on Back of Motorcycle Killed in Crash

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (KTLA) — A 4-year-old girl, riding on the back of a motorcycle, was killed Tuesday in a collision with a big rig in Rancho Cucamonga.

The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. on Sixth Street west of Hermosa Avenue.

The semi truck was traveling east on Sixth Street when the driver attempted to make a U-turn, according to San Bernardino County investigators.

The motorcycle was traveling in the same direction when it collided with the tractor trailer.

The driver of the motorcycle and his 4-year-old passenger were thrown from the bike, investigators said.

The girl, identified as Breann Creer of Ontario, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcycle driver, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

He was described by family members as the boyfriend of the child’s mother.

The child was wearing a helmet.

There is no age limit for motorcycle riders as long as their feet reach the rear pedals, investigators said.
