LA Phil “Concert Master,” Facebook Intros Shared Albums, Samsung Giveaway

The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles is celebrating 10 years with a few new digital goodies. There is a new microsite at LAPhil.com/WDCH10 where you can explore the history and making of the hall. There is also a really neat little online tool called the “Concert Master” that helps you find an upcoming show you’ll love. You answer a series of questions, like “who would you rather spend the day with, the Fonz or Yoda” and “do you like big or small concerts.” When you’re done, you’ll get a list of upcoming shows matched to your personality and tastes.

Facebook is introducing a handy new way to share pictures with a group called “shared albums.” Create an album and then choose up to 50 friends that can add pictures to it. It should be a convenient way to pull together collections of pictures friends take at group events like birthday parties, weddings, reunions and more. Watch for the feature to roll out to your account soon.
