MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (KTLA) — A woman was tied up and held at gunpoint Thursday night after she came home and found two men burglarizing her home, authorities said.
The robbers ransacked the house in the 1600 block of 5th Street while holding the woman captive, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department. Her father came come several hours later, while the robbers were still at the scene.
The victims escaped after the robbers left, and Manhattan Beach police responded to the scene about 12:30 a.m., authorities said.
Several items were taken, police said, although a description of the stolen property was not immediately available.
Investigators collected evidence at the house, and detectives were following up leads in the case.
Both of the robbers were described as black, 5-feet-10-inches, with a medium build and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
One of the men was said to be 20-30 years old; the other was described as 25-35 years old.
