Missing Burbank Woman Found Safe, Flew to Las Vegas
BURBANK, Calif. (KTLA) — A missing 80-year-old woman with dementia was found safe in Las Vegas Saturday, according to Burbank police officers.
Geraldine Sullivan was reported missing on Wednesday.
She had left her home in Burbank to attend a class reunion in Oxnard, but she never arrived at her destination.
Sullivan drove to Oxnard but couldn’t find the hotel where the reunion was taking place, Sgt. Brown said.
She drove back to Burbank and decided to take a flight to Las Vegas to have a good time, Brown added.
Sullivan did not inform her family of the flight.
She suffers from dementia, according to family members.
Sullivan appeared to be in good health despite the ordeal, Brown said.
