Urban Artist Chor Boogie joined us live to paint a piece for ‘Artworks for the Cure/T.J. Martell Foundation’ and to show his work.
Chor Boogie is an urban artist who paints exclusively with spray paint. Chor’s art has impacted and inspired a generation of young adults, including his infamous “Boogie Birds.” Chor’s work will be part of the upcoming art exhibit Artworks for the Cure.
“Artworks for the Cure 2013” is presented by the T.J. Martell Foundation, a leader in providing grants for innovative initial research into the cause, treatment and cure for cancer, leukemia and AIDS. T.J. Martell has provided more than $250,000,000 in funding, of which $27,000,000 has been granted to Children’s Hospital L.A. It is a benefit art exhibition, with an auction of artwork from more than 100 brilliant contemporary established and up-and-coming painters, photographers, sculptors and mixed media artists from around the globe including the graphic works of well-known music artists.
The event is at The Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Air Center at Santa Monica Airport.
