3 Shot Dead in El Monte; Homicide Detectives Investigating

Homicide detectives were responding to a home El Monte where three people were shot to death Tuesday night.


Authorities were responding to the shooting death of 2 women and a man in El Monte on Tuesday night.

Two women and a man were pronounced dead at the scene in the 9900 block of Marshall Street (map), according to the Los Agneles County Sheriff’s Department.

The address is in a residential area of the San Gabriel Valley city.

Authorities were called to the scene just after 8:30 p.m., the sheriff’s department said in a news release.

Sheriff’s department detectives were assisting the El Monte Police Department with the investigation.
