Man’s Body Found on Street in City of Orange

An investigation was underway Tuesday in the city of Orange, following the death of a pedestrian in the middle of a busy street, authorities said.


Orange police respond to Tustin St., where a man’s body was found Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013

A man’s body was found at 6:20 a.m. in the southbound lanes of North Tustin Street between Quincy Avenue and Collins Avenue, according to the Orange Fire Department.

The victim, whose name was not officially released, was 37-years-old, the fire department said.

He suffered massive head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the fire department.

The Orange Police Department was investigating the case as a possible hit and run.
