Christian Stewart was last seen in front of his home in the 500 block of West Twelfth Street at about 7 p.m., when he set off on his red BMX bicycle, according to the Pomona Police Department.

He was on his way to a friend’s house to get a haircut from the friend’s brother, Christian’s grandmother told KTLA.

“Our worst fear is that somebody has him and he can’t come back – and I’m hoping that isn’t true,” she said. “I’m hoping that he’s O.K. and maybe he spent the night somewhere, and maybe some parent didn’t bother to call us and let us know.”

Christian was described at 4 feet, 11 inches, about 80 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.

He has a scar on his head from ear to ear, the result of a surgery he underwent as an infant, his grandmother said. He also has a dimple on his right cheek.

Anyone with information about Christian’s whereabouts was asked to call the Pomona Police Department at 909-622-1241.
