ICE Agent, 2 Officers Shot During Gang Sweep, Gunman Sought

A manhunt was underway in Northern California on Friday after three law enforcement officers, including an ICE agent, were shot during a gang sweep in the Sacramento suburb of Roseville, authorities said.

The agent and two Roseville police officers were wounded shortly after 3 p.m., ICE spokeswoman Virginia Kice said in a news conference.

The unidentified agent was part of ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations unit.

The wounded agent was reportedly in stable condition at a hospital, according to Kice.

Police Chief Daniel Hahn said the two Roseville officers suffered non life-threatening injuries, according to a tweet from city officials.

The gunman was identified by police as 32-year-old Samuel Duran, a wanted parolee.
