Ruben Guerrero, 44, faces six felony counts for dealing and transporting the drug, and he could face up to 11 years in state prison, the DA’s office stated.

Prosecutors alleged in a court document that Guerrero sold methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of Montebello Intermediate School multiple times throughout September and October.

Guerrero was first taken into custody on Oct. 17 at his Montebello home, which he owns with Cortez, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was released the next day on $60,000 bail.

Guerrero’s arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 4. Prosecutors will request that his bail be set at $120,000.
