Terminal 3 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) reopened Saturday, following a deadly shooting at the airport a day earlier.
Airport officials made the announcement during a news conference at 1:20 p.m.
The news came a few hours after airport officials posted a tweet Saturday morning saying ticket counters in Terminal 3 were open for ticket purchases and for workers to answer questions.
But no flights would depart from the terminal.
The airport also announced that parking structure #3 had reopened.
Allegiant Air, Frontier, JetBlue, Spirit, Virgin America and Virgin Australia are all located in Terminal 3, according the Los Angeles World Airports website.
