Enjoy the great outdoors and make a difference with Heal the Bay’s Stream Team! Heal the Bay is partnering with the Mountains Restoration Trust to restore areas of Leo Carrillo State Park. The habitat restoration is part of a larger project to restore the creek, the Arroyo Sequit, for the endangered southern California steelhead trout. The project involves removing barriers so that steelhead can migrate upstream. That includes the removal of invasive plants and planting of natives to restore the habitat.
