At its iPhone 5s event, Apple briefly showed off an upcoming app from Nike that would be able to track your moves without wearing a wristband. It’s all thanks to a special M7 chip inside the new iPhone 5s that separately measures movement without using much battery or the main processor.
Now, Nike has released the app that takes full advantage of this new processor so you can track your activity and convert your movement into NikeFuel points without having to shell out $100+ dollars on a wrist band.
The app is called Nike+ Move and it’s available now on the App store for free. You must have an iPhone 5s to take advantage of the app. It will track your movements, show you where you go, when you’re most active and let you compete against your friends. All without compromising your battery life.
