Initial images and videos of the unidentified man, referred to as John Doe 27, being photographed while engaging in sexually explicit activities with a child were first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in April.

They are still being circulated in numerous child pornography forums across the Internet, according to a news alert from the FBI.

Investigators have successfully enhanced a number of photos depicting John Doe 27 and believe there are several clues which may assist with his identification.

For example, images depict the subject and the victim inside a residence with a distinct plaid chair, male pattern baldness on the back of the subject’s head, and a ring on the subject’s right ring finger, the alert said.

Based on audio which can be heard from the unreleased video, investigators said, it appears he speaks with a southern accent and refers to himself as “Jimmy.”

He is otherwise described as a white man, between the ages of 40 and 50, with brown hair and graying sideburns, according to the alert.

The whereabouts of John Doe 27 are unknown and this alert is being distributed worldwide.
