Walk to End Alzheimer’s this morning at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Though there is no cure for the disease, people walk and contribute their support. In addition to the Walk and tribute ceremony, there is live music, a Kidz Zone, and more.
Priceless Treasures of the Huntington Library

We can see the priceless treasures of the Huntington Library in the beautifully restored 1920 library main exhibition hall. Among the special items we can see are the Declaration of Independence, the Gutenberg Bible, the handwritten letters by Abraham Lincoln and more.

The Fowler Museum at UCLA is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a suite of special exhibitions and programs entitled FOWLER AT FIFTY. Nearly 1,000 objects from the Fowler’s more than 100-thousand acclaimed, and diverse artifacts are on display.
More than 200 pieces from the private collections of Van Cleef & Arpels are on display in Santa Ana at the Bowers Museum in the exhibit “A Quest for Beauty: The Art of Van Cleef & Arpels.” Included the international jewelry exhibit, one of the company’s famous Zip necklaces inspired by the Duchess of Windsor.
The Power of Photography: National Geographic 125 Years is waiting for you at the Annenberg Space for Photography. Long renowned for its stunning images, the exhibit offers a wide range of photographic genres and themes free to the public for six months.
El Otro Chile

A weekend of contemporary Chilean films are being shown this weekend at the Museum of Latin American Art. Six films are featured in the Long Beach exhibition entitled “El Otro Chile.” Most of the films have won a variety of awards.
Ice at Santa Monica

This is a sing of the season. ICE at Santa Monica returns. Downtown Santa Monica brings a little ice skating to the beachside community and transforms the corner of 5th Street and Arizona Avenue into a premier eight-thousand square foot outdoor ice skating rink.
Apple Picking Season
It’s apple season in Oak Glen, described as Southern California premiere apple growing area. Most farms and shops are open every day within a five mile loop of wholesome family fun.

This is a “Day Out With Thomas” in Perris at the Orange Empire Railway. This family event offers children and their grownups the opportunity to take a 25-minute ride with the classic story book Thomas the Tank Engine and meet Sir Topham Hatt, the Superintendent of the Railroad.
