One Officer Hit in Chest During Inglewood Shootout With Gunman

Two Inglewood police officers were injured in an exchange of gunfire that led to a barricade situation Wednesday. One was hit in the chest but was saved by his bulletproof vest, while another was injured when she fell running to help her wounded colleague.
