The bodies were discovered in the 3300 block of Billie Court (map) at about 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

McClain’s body was found on the sidewalk in front of a neighbor’s home, while Wahe was found nearby, detectives on scene said.

The bodies were about 30 to 40 feet apart, and a handgun was recovered at the scene, police said.

Investigators concluded that Wahe fatally shot McClain before shooting himself, according to a news release from the Simi Valley Police Department.

The two victims were neighbors, but police said they had no other relationship. There was also no evidence of a prior conflict between the two, according to police.

Anyone with information about the deaths was asked to call the Simi Valley Police Department’s Detective Unit at 805-583-6969.
