A homeless Los Angeles woman received a miracle just in time for Christmas.

Christabel thought she was going to a job interview Saturday in East Hollywood.

Instead, the mother-of-two (who didn’t want her last name used) was surprised with a new apartment on North Berendo Street.

Cameras were there as a very surprised Christabel walked inside the apartment and was greeted by a crowd of strangers yelling “welcome home.”

After the initial shock wore off, Christabel told KTLA 5, “I’m just feeling a lot of joy, a lot of gratefulness.  I’m very happy.”

Earlier this year, Christabel lost her job, and then her home.

Her young daughters have been staying with friends while their mother struggled to get back on her feet.

Mytchell Mora, an independent producer, learned about Christabel’s plight and wanted to help.

He raised enough money to pay the rent on the apartment for six months, furnish it and stock it with goodies.

Mora also got some of his friends to help pull off the surprise party, complete with catering and balloons.
