Fire crews quickly doused a brush fire that was burning south of the 210 Freeway in Irwindale on Monday.
Aerial video from Sky5 showed the flames burning in two spots near the freeway just after 1 p.m.
Firefighters used helicopters, water dropping planes and ground crews to battle the blaze, which burned about three acres, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The brush fire began just hours after a red flag warning had expired in Los Angeles County.
The fire department announced full containment of the blaze at about 1:20 p.m.
