The 125th Tournament of Roses Parade was marked by pageantry and controversy.

Thousands of onlookers lined Colorado Boulevard for the beloved annual event, which featured dozens of floats and marching bands.

Two of the floats — one sponsored by SeaWorld, the other by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation — added an element of controversy to the festivities.
