Small Quake Rattles San Fernando Valley

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.6  struck the San Fernando Valley Friday morning, the USGS reported.

The quake was centered about 2 miles west of Universal City.

It was reported just before 5:30 a.m.

The quake came on the 20th anniversary of the Northridge Earthquake.
