Police in Koreatown were searching Monday for two men wanted in a double shooting near a busy intersection that left two other men dead, police at the scene confirmed.
The shooting occurred just before 2 p.m. near the intersection of Third Street and Normandie Avenue (map), according to LAPD Officer Gregory Baek.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene; the second was transported in critical condition and later died at the hospital, police said.
A woman, who did not want to be identified, told KTLA that even when the victims fell to the ground, the shooting continued.
“The guy with the gun panicked and handed the other guy the gun and that’s when he kept shooting him,” the witness said.
Police were looking for two men seen running from the area.
