Offshore flow will strengthen over Southern California Thursday night through Friday. Northeast winds are expected to peak on Friday morning, with 45 mph gusts across the mountains. There will also be gusts up to 35 mph across wind prone coastal and valley sections. Meanwhile, humidities are expected to lower to between 8 and 15 percent on Friday with temperatures in the 70s. Critical fire weather will impact much of the area from Thursday through Friday due to gusty offshore winds, low humidities, warm temperatures, and very dry fuels.
