Two bicyclists discovered the body on the ground near Deodar Drive and Live Oak Lane (map) shortly before 5:45 a.m. and called 911, according to Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority.

Investigators believed that it was an isolated incident and that there was “no threat to the public,” according to a tweet from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities were canvassing the neighborhood of multimillion-dollar homes, looking for clues. Then an arrest was announced just before 3:30 p.m.

The suspect was described only as a 35-year-old male resident of Yorba Linda who had an “undetermined” relationship to the victim, according to a tweet from the Sheriff’s Department.

“We’re talking to neighbors and witnesses, looking for any possible surveillance cameras or anything else that would give us additional information in terms of how this occurred, or exactly what occurred here this morning,” sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Jeff Hallock had said.

Officials did not release the name of the suspect, and they said they were still trying to figure out who the victim was.

KTLA’s Chip Yost and Jennifer Thang contributed to this report.
