The chase ended at 9:06 p.m., about 20 minutes after it began, when the car stopped in the 2000 block of East Bliss Street, Sky 5 video showed.

The vehicle had been reported stolen, said Officer Bruce Borihanh, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.

The pursuit made its way southbound on the 110 Freeway, then eastbound on the 105 Freeway before the driver exited at Central Avenue.

Officers followed the Chevrolet through Willowbrook before the incident ended in Compton, where the two men were ordered out of the car at gunpoint.
