The family of a Westlake High School senior threatened to file a lawsuit Wednesday, after their son was suspended for confronting another student.

Dominic Conti was suspended for five days and faced a possible expulsion in October after he and his father confronted a member of the school’s football team. The player has been accused by the Conti family of sexually harassing Dominic’s 15-year-old sister on three occasions.

The family also accused the school district of protecting the football team while ignoring their daughter’s claims of harassment.
