The 1961 classic movie “A Raisin in the Sun” starring Sidney Poitier, Ruby Dee, Claudia McNeil, Diana Sands, Ivan Dixon, Louis Gossett, Jr. and John Fiedler can be seen for FREE at the Mayme A. Clayton Library and Museum in Culver City.
The film centers on the Younger family’s life in Chicago’s south side and their struggles with poverty and racism.
