Police in Oxnard were searching Thursday for witnesses to a hit-and-run crash last month that left a 66-year-old man hospitalized in critical condition.
Adalberto Romero Deloa was struck while crossing Channel Islands Boulevard near Circle Drive at around 6:15 p.m. on February 21, according to a news release from the Oxnard Police Department.

The Oxnard man was thrown several feet by the impact, landing in the middle of the road where he was struck by a second vehicle, described only as a light-colored sedan, the release stated.
Both vehicles left the scene without rendering aid or calling for help.
