Detectives on Thursday were looking for a man who allegedly pulled his pants down and exposed himself to a woman inside the Brea Mall earlier this week.

The incident happened on Monday at about 2:30 p.m., at the mall located at 1065 Brea Mall (map), according to Lt. Darrin Devereux of the Brea Police Department.

The man also made lewd comments to the victim before running away, Devereux stated in a news release.

Monday’s “very brazen” act may not have been the man’s first, according to Devereux. Detectives believe the man may have been involved in similar incidents at the Irvine Spectrum Center (map) and The Shops in Mission Viejo (map) within the past week.

The man was described as white, about 30 years old, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds.

He had a short “buzz” haircut and was wearing a thick necklace or band. Detectives believe he may have tattoos on at least one of his forearms and was tanned or sun burned.

Brea police have asked for the public’s help in identifying and located the man. They have also asked that any other possible victims come forward.
