Health Smart: L.A. Man Collecting Supplies to Help Cambodian Orphans – Lu Parker Reports

A Los Angeles man has been doing his part to help make life better for hundreds of children in Cambodia infected with HIV and AIDS. And he wants the public’s help.

Little things around your home — such as a pen or a notebook — could go a long way toward improving conditions for children at an orphanage started by a Texas couple, according to Ludo Barras. He’s been collecting items to donate to the children.

“I’m happy that, from L.A., we can bring  some joy over there,” Barras said.

More information on New Hope for Cambodian Children and the orphanage, Our Village, is at the nonprofit’s website.
