Rock for Vets is having a fundraiser in Long Beach. The non-profit organization says it creates music education programs for veterans and others at-risk, that help build career skills transferable to the music industry.
The Rock for Vets Band is performing.
Vietnam Veterans Day Resource Fair

Nearly 40 organizations and businesses dedicated to helping veterans will offer information, services and counseling at the Veterans Resource Fair. Also, an evening memorial service will honor four of veterans who died homeless.
Rose Hill Memorial Park says this event bridges the gap for veterans from Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Museum of Latin American Art is honored to be the ONLY West Coast venue for the exhibition Frida Kahlo, Her Photos, which presents more than 200 images from Frida Kahlo’s personal Casa Azul archive in Mexico City.
The exhibition is not intended to be biographically chart Kahlo’s life, but rather an exploration of how photography played an important role in shaping and documenting her personal experiences.
