‘Matter of Time’ Before Man Who Stabbed Someone in Hollywood Is Caught

A stabbing victim was in stable condition Sunday and was expected to survive, according to the LAPD.

Officers responded to the area of Franklin Avenue at N. Sycamore Avenue (map) near Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a man with a knife who may have stabbed someone, according to the Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Division.

The victim was transported to the hospital and was expected to survive, Sgt. Chuck Slater said.

No one was arrested but police know who they are searching for and said it’s a matter of time before he’s caught, Slater said.
