Help Sought Finding Missing Hacienda Heights Man With Alzheimer’s

Authorities asked the public for help on Wednesday in finding a 66-year-old man with Alzheimer’s who has not been seen since he drove away from his home in Hacienda Heights.

Victor Rubio left his home in the 1700 block of Park Lawn Road (map) at about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department news release.

Rubio suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and has not been in contact with his family, the Sheriff’s Department stated in the news release.

Rubio drove away in a gold colored 2003 Honda Odyssey, with a license plate number 5DFY507, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

He was last seen wearing dark slacks and a green and white plaid shirt. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall with gray hair and brown eyes.

Rubio has a 4 inch scar from his neck to his shoulder blades and a 12 inch scar on his stomach, according to authorities.
