Man Killed in Carson Car-to-Car Shooting Believed to Be Gang Related

A man was pronounced dead at a hospital after being shot in Carson, authorities said Tuesday.

The man was shot in what was believed to be a car-to-car, gang-related shooting just before 9 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which provided an update on the death on Tuesday evening.

The victim, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was driven from the scene of the shooting, Carson Street and Orrick Avenue, to theĀ 22100 block of South Neptune Avenue. Deputies from the sheriff’s Carson Station responded to the latter location.

The man later died at an area hospital. No further information was available.
