Metro Bus Jumps Curb, Strikes Light Pole in Beverly Hills

A Metro bus jumped a curb and struck a light pole in Beverly Hills on Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 3:10 a.m. in the 9000 block of Wilshire Boulevard, according to a spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department.

About 40 people were on the bus at the time of the incident, police said. One passenger complained of pain after the crash but declined to be transported to a hospital.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
