The credit cards were stolen April 2 in a vehicle burglary at Cerritos Park, located at 19700 S. Bloomfield Ave. in Cerritos, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Two minutes after the burglary, a man and woman purchased gift cards and other items at two stores in the 12100 and 12200 blocks of Carson Street in Hawaiian Gardens, the Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

The man is described at 20 to 30 years old, wearing a green hat, plaid shirt and blue jeans. He was seen driving a silver four-door sedan, possibly a Mercede-Benz, with a sunroof.

The woman is described as white or Hispanic, with blonde hair, wearing a black coat, blue jeans and black and white spotted boots. She was seen with a girl who was approximately 3 to 4 years old.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff’s Detective Stambook of the Parks Bureau at 562-254-4921.
