Police announced Friday they had recovered a vehicle that may be connected to the hit-and-run crash that killed a 2-year-old girl in San Bernardino.
The vehicle was found Thursday night within the city of San Bernardino, according to Lt. Lawhead, of the San Bernardino Police Department.
Asianae Thomas was hit Saturday when she darted into the road from a birthday party being held at a home on North Mountain View Avenue.
The vehicle described by witnesses was a dark-colored flatbed truck.
It was not known if that was the type of vehicle recovered by police.
On Wednesday, San Bernardino police confirmed the 2-year-old was on life-support and had been declared brain-dead.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Detective Peck at 909-384-5664.
