A 91-year-old Pennsylvania native fulfilled a lifelong dream on Friday night when she got to attend her first high school prom with her husband of 67 years, a local television station reported.

Edna Lamping’s family didn’t allow her to go to her high school prom, and it’s something she always regretted.

But thanks to her granddaughter and the staff at Montour High School, Lamping was giving a second chance, according to WTAE.

“We were originally going to do a prom-style party. My mom said, ‘Why don’t we see if my alma mater will actually have them at their prom?'” Kaitlin Dolak, the Lampings’ granddaughter, told the station.

Prom attendees cheered on the Lampings during their first dance, which was to a Frank Sinatra song. They later screamed with joy as Joe Lamping leaned in for a kiss.
