A 71-year-old man has been found in good condition and has returned to his home in Loma Linda after being missing for much of Saturday, his daughter said early Sunday morning.
Family members discovered that Nam Chung Woo was missing about 12:30 p.m. Saturday and began searching for him, according to a statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Woo’s relatives scoured the neighborhood near his home for approximately four and a half hours before calling the Sheriff’s Department at about 5:10 p.m., authorities said.
Despite an aerial search and a ground search, Woo had not been located as of 11:30 p.m.
Woo suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and requires medications, including some for anger-management, according to authorities.
“He has not taken his medications today and may appear to be acting strangely,” the statement said.
