A man shot five to six rounds at a group of men in the parking lot (map) after a verbal confrontation around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Los Angeles Sheriff’s news release.

The sisters were struck by gunfire in their lower left legs and transported to a local hospital.

A third victim was later located at a hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm, the release stated.

The suspected shooter was driving a mid-2000s, blue Volkswagen Beetle convertible and used a 9 mm handgun, according to the release. The only description available at the time was that the man was black.

The male victim told authorities that the shooter had fled in his vehicle southbound in the parking lot toward Del Amo Boulevard.
