Police in Burbank on Monday were investigating a rash of daylight break-ins at four homes in the span of four hours.
The burglaries occurred on Friday and resulted in a loss of tens of thousands of dollars in property, police said.
The homes were located on Maple, Lima, Cordova and Avon streets.
One thing all the burglaries had in common was a lack of forced entry, said Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department.
“A screen was taken off a window on two of them; one of them, a door was left open,” according to Ryburn.
The burglars stole electronics, jewelry, alcohol and expensive cigars, leading investigators to suspect juveniles.
Anyone with information was urged to contact Burbank police at 818-238-3000.
