In an incident that went largely unnoticed in the United Stated, dozens of Iranian freedom fighters were killed in a massacre in Iraq last September. It happened after the Obama administration pledged to protect the freedom fighters, who were part of an Iranian opposition group called MEK. The 52 freedom fighters were killed in an Iraq camp where they were given shelter. Two Southern California residents are among those continuing the fight for a better Iran.
