San Francisco Woman Talks About Viral Video of Her Dancing Before a Double Mastectomy

Six months after a video of a San Francisco woman dancing to Beyonce in the operating room before her double mastectomy went viral, Deborah Cohan opened up about now being cancer-free and hailed an inspiration by many.

“It’s really humbling that I happened to be the one who started it, but really I’ve been inspired by so many people,” Cohan said. “I’m just really on the healing path and trying to absorb everything that I’ve gone through over the past six months,” Cohan said.

Cohan’s video to a multitude of copycat Internet posts and a Facebook post from Beyonce that stated, “Deborah, you are awesome.”
