2 Men Wanted in Connection to 3 Sexual Assaults in Monrovia

Police were searching Thursday for two men accused of grabbing women’s buttocks or breasts in three separate sexual assault reports in Monrovia.

The first man wrapped his arm around a woman then grabbed her buttocks with his other hand while saying “hey baby,” near Huntington Drive and South Canyon Boulevard (map) Friday around 8 a.m., according to a Monrovia Police Department news release.

He was described as Hispanic, 19 to 20 years old, 5 foot 6 inches, 140 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes, the release stated.

A second man was wanted in connection to a sexual assault and sexual battery report on April 2. In the first report the man grabbed a woman’s buttocks, and in the second instance he kicked a woman in the leg while grabbing her breasts and commenting on their size.

Both women described the man as Hispanic, 16 to 20 years old, 5 foot 6 inches, with a thin build. He had a skateboard and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark pants during both attacks, the report stated.
