Provide system and end-user support for all KTLA network equipment & users. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following troubleshooting computer problems, software and hardware configuration and installation of workstations, servers and network infrastructure devices including switches, hubs and routers, basic server operation administration and Apple OSX support – software, hardware, networking.
REQUIREMENTS: Two to three years of work experience in networked computer support. Knowledge of Windows XP & Win7 OS, Windows Server 2003 & 2008 network operating systems (CNE & MCSE certification a plus – but not required). Two to three years experienced with hardware troubleshooting & installation, software installation. Application management, network printing & print server maintenance. Must have excellent people skills in working with users. Problem-solving and analytical skills are essential. Good communication skills are required, including documentation & follow-up. Must be willing to work evenings and/or weekends.
